i'll always be baffled by people who thought criston asked rhaenyra to run away with him because he loved her. he said it right in the show - he wanted to marry her because he knew he messed up by sleeping with her, so he thought marrying her might bring some of his honor back. and him asking shows just how little he knows her and that he would ask her to give up her entire life and legacy to help put a patch the mistake he made. them sleeping together was a bad idea all around but this was the point in which i really started disliking criston.

him having a strong sense of justice goes hand in hand. because of his strong sense of justice, he doesn’t kill for no reason. that’s where morals get murky because one can say it’s okay to kill if there is a reason while others may think killing is wrong no matter the circumstances. that’s why daemon is a grey character and neither bad nor good.

GRR Martin mentioned Daemon is one of his favorite characters because he is so complex. He is supposed to be a grey character; he has a strong sense of justice, and does not kill without intention but he is also very ruthless and calculated which all makes him neither good nor bad.

Crispon has got some serious plot armor. Him slapping Laenor should of got him executed. This is who Crispon truly is. He also wasn't in love with Rhaenerya he just wanted to fix his honor. Daemon is a very grey character I don't think he is evil. He doesn't kill without a purpose but he definitely isn't good either. Alicent was tripping this episode let her father manipulate her. I sometimes feel bad for her. But Rhaenerya didn't really owe Alicent the truth especially after she secretly dated her dad

I'm sure y'all figured it out, but I heard someone mention greyscale during the one Viserys scene (where he's speaking to Lyonel about being remembered) and just wanted to clarify that no, Viserys does not have greyscale; his sickness is never directly explained or named, but it's likely an infection from when he cut himself on the Iron Throne's swords. So yeah, definitely not greyscale! Excited for y'all to get to the later episodes, you thought you were on edge during this episode? Y'all haven't seen anything yet!

At every episode end I am so mad you guys only do one episode per upload. You have so many to go through in GOT. You better start doing it in twos or Im gonna grow even older than Viserys. Whenever you guys mention how you like the slow setup and how it doesn't have to all be action because the good writing carries the momentum of the story I cant help but think of all the HxH champs on here and them going on and on about the greatness of HxH writing... but I can't help but laugh at HxH's "great writing" compared to a show with actual great writing such as HOTD.

Brig the reason the horse fell over on her was because Daemon flew his dragon over to the Vale. Daemon puts his hand up to the horses snout and it reacts by shaking its head and moving backwards. He smelt like a dragon and that smell puts fear into animals since dragons have a predatory smell to them. They are giant beasts after all, its no different then a deer not liking the smell of a wolf.

if u noticed alicent always wore red and black as the queen consort to the Targaryens, but now she wore green. basically swearing allegiance to her house instead of her husbands. The velaryon girl daemon was dancing with is lord corlys daughter laena, the little girl that viserys was going to marry a few eps back. Also the smirk at the mention of bloodshed at a wedding had me dying laughing.
