It only makes sense for Jack to sit by McKay. In this way, we can see and listen better to what Brig has to say. We don't need to hear Mckay's and Jack's thoughts on this since they have already seen it. I quite don't get why Jack seems to be so against that. This logic is only valid.

You can look to your right for all the fresh reactions and look to your left for the rewatchers. Not tryna be the guy begging for uploads here, but the blue ray/updated version of sukuna vs mahoraga has been released, if you wanted to react to it. The differences would be in the animation, notably more fluid and no dimming, as well as added scenes in the fight itself.

All due respect to jack, i do think for this particular series jack should sit with McKay. They can throw knowing looks at each other and not have the others be too aware. If he were to sit in his original spot, they would have to do it over Cannon and Carter which can alter their full experience because it would be obvious that something of interest or hypeness was about to happen. This is just my opinion.

If you maybe remember the animators weren't satisfied with that episode and said only 30% of it was done. Now they released a blu ray version that is much closer to what they imagined the original to be. Its only available in Japan and sites like aniwatch haven't updated it yet so you would have to torrent it yourself.

If Jack sits next to McKay, I think you might need to spread out more on the couch. In the last Video when McKay and Brig sat at the edge of the couch, Brig covered half of Cannon and McKay completely covered Jack 😂 it was not for long but in your original spots, whenever someone changed position, no one was blocked. I just think it would be sad missing your facial reactions during the best moments.
