But LM have like 30 minutes discussion on each episode. Considering the time they invested as such, it would be difficult to watch more per week. I guess here the Gek guys need time to gather together, a more similar situation as RTTV, also like 4 eps every week, I think it’s also fair enough. That is a crazy take. Gon's dub va is amazing especially in that iconic scene that everyone who's watched the show knows what I'm talking about. In other instances they just sound like regular children (which they are).

Gotta try to do 6 or 8 a week for this arc. I would say this arc is best when you binge it. There's a lot of small details, a lot of interesting examples of juxtaposition. Forgetting things will worsen your experience with this arc.

The HxH dub is literally the worst dub I've ever heard... It absolutely misses the subtlety in dialog and delivery. Dub voice acting in the last 5 years has taken a crazy downturn, and the HxH dub is one of the worst examples of it. Leorio and Hisoka have good voice actors, Gon and Killua's voice actors are atrocious.

IMO they’re also a bit overconfident and don’t understand the true threat (and how fast the ants are developing). So far they’ve just been fighting jobbers, the one time they had a little bit of trouble was only because Kite sat out against Rammot. They will learn true fear though…

I am glad you guys are really enjoying this arc so far...the reason they are in a hurry to reach the nest Cannon is because they want to prevent the Queen from birthing the King. Of course, it is a trade-off, wait for the punitive force and other hunters to arrive so that they have more manpower to fight the Chimera ants, however, the more they wait, the higher the probability of the Queen having birthed the King. So yes, they are also battling time and have a sense of urgency

Yeah the movies mostly suck and are 95% not written by the author. One of the movies adapts parts of Kurapika’s backstory though which is cool. Wouldn’t really recommend the movies though, especially the one that introduced Jed and that stupid On shit. Also they’re not canon and contradict the HxH timeline
