I had the same exact thought. I wasn’t thinking Ozzy specifically but make a deal for a bunch of food and beer and send them against the lizard or the winter troops

Kensai

I’m thinking Ozzy needs to visit the Orc War Camp and redirect them South. Especially if he can find something to make it worth their trouble, like a Dragon or free beer.

A thought occurred to me would a spiky stick from the rat kin work as a contract worker primary weapon? What about one of the diamond embedded swords that the lizard folk have been carrying around?

Tank oo fur da chap!

Great chapter! Now I’m fiendish for some offal. Curious to what sort plan Ozzy has that would help benefit him & the gang when the emperor talks to Billy.

I don’t recall ever having tried tripe myself but my grandma and her sister did mention it quite fondly. It just wasn’t considered suitable for children with picky eating habits and when I had grown out of my picky eating habits they were too old to still do a lot of cooking. But both were excellent cooks and did enjoy good food so I reckon it must be possible to make tasty tripe. However, the pictures I’m seeing online aren’t the most encouraging, I admit.

NameGame

Nobody going to comment on the tripe soup? Ya all are some braver eaters than I. Blech. I'm not hungry enough for that and hope to keep it that way for the rest of my life. Thanks for the chapter. Good and fun.

Orthomalleus

Probably. But maybe smoked port is a new thing? Glasses of smoked port?

Findell

and pieces of smoked port --- I am guessing this is pork not port.

Felix H.

Yeah...I belief there are easier ways to commit suicide, than marching on sedgewick...

Kensai

A soldier getting advice from a camp cook, very practical. Shows exactly how smart the Emperor is. Especially taking advice from a camp cook with happy fed soldiers around him.

Sparifankerl

Or should I write "bankable" instead of "sweet"? "Bankable" sounds more like the Sedgewick and Gadobhra bunch.
