Lost Rain

The city foots the bill. I've hinted at it a couple of times, but the Blue Crusade is one of a few corporations that basically run private police for the City-states of the FSA(the country that Aythryn City belongs to). The other one I've mentioned is the Golden Spine Consortium, which will pop up in other cities. I'm actually super excited to write something with the Golden Spine Consortium since their MO is entirely different from the Blue Crusade. As for the judicial branch ruling in favor of a warrant against a corporation? The Blue Crusade is also a corporation. One that runs the entirety of the police and public security. Lang Corp(not officially the name yet) isn't the only one that can buy someone off.

I kinda assume they paid one of the bigger corps to build it. Plus they're threatening a manager of Lang Security, not that actual corp that owns the building.

If it's like Night City, the city. They are a corporate contracted private security firm the city pays to handle policing. Miltech and Arasaka also tossed in some money too. Mostly for NCPD to look the other way. The more interesting question, to me at least, isn't the Blue Crusade. It's the idea of a seemingly functional judicial branch which would rule in favor of a warrant against a corporation that could build something like the archology.

The guy nearly kept out of his seat in startlement -> leapt or lept? Leaped? No idea, but it's not kept Tyftc. Super boring question alert: how's the blue crusade work? They're like, a private corporation that gets paid to handle police work, right? Is that on a case by case basis, or has the city granted them authority everywhere? I guess I'm asking, who's paying them to be in this arcology right now? One small time manager filed a report, but apparently the rest of the people running the building are happy about the disappearances, so who's footing the bill?
