Bet I'll work up a character draft for the mc the I'll hit you up. You got a discord?

https://outrunlitrpg.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page Heres a link to the wiki. It's still a work in progress, but you might find it helpful.

Lost Rain

You can write whatever you want! Just send me the link please. I’d love to read it

Man I really love this story. If possible I'm making a story similar to this one with my own twist. If I'm allowed I wouldn't mind making a spin off or a story that takes place in the same universe ad outrun if it meets your expectations.

R H

Thanks, plum is a favourite and how I found RR.

Gardor

Neon Dragons by LunaWolve (maybe lunawolf) is a good litrpg cyberpunk on RR

Lost Rain

I got inspired by bad stories… It’s also been like a year since I started, so I don’t really remember what inspired me in particular. I think it might’ve actually just been Cyberpunk artwork. I love the style. I was bored and my current stories at the time had rough starts—they were both really bad—so I decided why not go for an entirely different genre? It’s funny, at the time I was trying to decide between Outrun and a Batman fanfic. Glad Outrun won out mentally in the end. And yeah, good reads are difficult to find. Lots of books that are on top are straight up bad, and a lot of really good books are lost in the dumpster. I had similar issues for a long time when I was reading more. Here’s a few off the top of my head. Have you checked out Plum Parrot? He just released a new Cyberpunk book on RR. Neon Dust, I think. Don’t know too much about it, but description seemed like a superhero cyberpunk setup using something called Dust. Plum has several successful stories, so this one is probably going to be good. Cyber Dreams is another by Plum that’s on kindle. Anubis187 released a book called Neon Skyfall that looked interesting. MC had a goal of repairing a shattered moon, I think. Also on RR. Looked super intriguing, but I don’t really read these days so I don’t know much. There’s also a newer writer on the Royal block planning a release of his own story feb 21, if you want to check that out. Jonco456, I think. I’ll be shouting him out on RR the 24th if you want a link. Titan Project or something like that. He said it was a Cyberpunk, but it’s not out yet so I don’t really know much. Of course I can’t do a cyberpunk litRPG suggestion list and leave out Stray Cat Strut. Really long, and RavensDagger is a good writer. Character interactions are usually really solid with everything he writes. And Stray Cat Strut has several fan-fictions that are surprisingly high quality, so there’s a bunch of other stories loosely in that setting. I think Raven has a list of SCS fan fictions somewhere. And then there’s Seras’ story Ghost in the City. It’s been the top Cyberpunk for a long time. It’s probably good, though I haven’t gotten around to reading much of it. From some reviews and comments I’ve gotten, I think it’s more focused on the litRPG side of things and skill grinds. I don’t really read much these days, unfortunately. My list is rather short. I’m usually busy writing or doing other stuff.

Sure cyberpunk, I have read most of the usual cyberpunk stuff on RR with that tag but anything you might recommend or even what inspired you… Finding good reads is half the battle ! Also enjoy litrpg sci-fi. Peace.

Lost Rain

Thank you! What do you mean by similar web novels/stories? More cyberpunk stuff?

R H

I found Outrun on royal road great story! I just wanted to pop in and thank you for all the pages! Oh, also any idea how I would find similar web novels/stories as Royal road seems to be more about other genres… Regards

I would imagine someone not getting paid but still working without complaint would be more suspicious than someone who does get paid, if someone were to poke into that. Besides, she did bring in a good deal of useful information, which should dispel some level of suspicion. The increased security is a risk for her too, no doubt, but personally I don't think she's in any immediate danger for it.

Gardor

That's a great point, but it's not mutually exclusive. Increased security seems like a problem, regardless of where it's focused.

Dominic French

I would think they would target people who have the access to jailbreak someone first. I'm not sure her squire credentials give her the access to do that level of action.

Gardor

Uh oh, if the crusade is starting to get paranoid about moles, I sure hope her false identification holds up. Especially if she's about to kick it up a level and start actually getting a paycheck.
