FrogTheJam explained the situation with Choso pretty well, but I'll add a little more context. Choso is theorizing that one of Yuji's parents had Kamo Noritoshi's brain in them and had a child with the other. Yuji may have been, and probably was, an only child between those two. The other children were the 9 Curse Fetuses. They only came about when Mahito fed the three to different victims. I also don't think those "memories" of Choso, Yuji, and the other Curse Fetuses eating together were implanted. They were probably more of a symbolic "what if things were different" situation his mind played out in desperation from about killing his younger brother.

No spoilers: Kamo Noritoshi, the brain dude, was actually introduced back near the end of season 1 while Yuji and Nobara were fighting the cursed wombs, with an explanation for how Choso, Eso, and Kechizu were created. Remember it was that really gross line: "A woman came to his temple with the ability to bear the child of a cursed spirit. Nine times he impregnated her, nine times he aborted her. All records of how he did it and what happened after were lost." We knew what he looked like generally, but it was this episode that revealed he has the same scar on his forehead as fake geto. Ironically enough the explanation was given by "Geto", who turns out to be the same dude he's talking about. You should give that section a rewatch whenever you have time. Gives a lot of good info now that we know he's a relevant villain and not just a history lesson.
