Man everyone here was so pressed about the pace lmao. I think it's good author bro, I was waiting for a chapter like this to pop up

TCAP Guild

Great chapter

George R

Intense chapter great showing of what a threat the stalker is.

Fizbandu

Warder is an idiot if he wants to eliminate a potential ally. An ally that helped his guild facilitate their greatest heist of the century (I assume).

p Sherman

I enjoy the slow buildup, thanks for the chapter.

Loexik

Sure, I'm not satisfied with the length of the recent chapters, but I'll trust your writing a bit more at the very absolute least until the arc ends. I'm hoping you have planned the story well.

I am getting sick and tired with constant filler. I literally read a book called Godclads on this site and there is always a lengthy chapter everyday posted that progresses the story lightyears beyond this one. Also some of the character traits and magic is not making sense. I think I am going to drop this for a long time and maybe it will be updated to a satisfactory level later, or the book series might just end. I do not really care either way.

Tzeneth

And my opinion of this arc just drops lower. Especially the lack of follow through on the Thieves' Guild. Also, the name thing makes no sense to me. Apparently titles work? That seems dumb.

Like Alex had a fortress why not at least bring in at least claygon. Live one of his friends went to hell with him. Or some mercenaries this lone would business is ridiculous

support!

Yeah this still doesn't make sense

stardast24

gets us no where

Kinda sick of all the stalker povs, slows the story down so much

I'm actually scared that the hidden church is actually being smart for once, Alex and co have pushed them to the point they've begun to use their brains. P.S I can only hope they either die or realize Uldar is dead before they become too smart for Alex to handle.

ItWasIDIO!!

I kinda agree I never understand how someone in the middle of some (maybe fragile) process that may or may not debilitate them is going to fight back

ItWasIDIO!!

Oh the hunt is all fun & games when you've rigged the game but the second you have to actually hunt you're in hissy fit also good job Warder ya fucked up

TwoMoreYears

This could be a very interesting confrontation. From what we’ve seen the sanctum is not only warded specifically against heroes of update but also possibly has divinity protections from the gods Hannah worshiped. If they come for Alex in that sanctum I’m guessing the Stalker is the only one who will be fighting at full power for once.

IntrinsicallySynest

Not in so far that we've seen

IntrinsicallySynest

Really hope you're not going for the whole secret church worming their way into the sanctum and interrupting Alex while he's in the middle of the process. That'd be a horrible trope and ever so cliché.

So, dumb question, because I've been fading in and out of this story with the enormous amounts of filler between every actually solving the plot points... does anything at any point ever address the Stalker's behavior? The story, earlier on treated the Fae in a somewhat traditional way with contracts between mortals, etc. The Stalker was given a task as the Guide, did it ever explain why he's just not doing that anymore? Also why is he allowed to go through mortal lands unimpeded, doing whatever he wants to whoever he wants like a cartoon villain. Does he have no restrictions in his behavior with mortals? And if he doesn't what's held him back before now, and why is it gone?

Zack Countler

Dark, I like it

Voror

Well that frustration was certainly satisfying to read but it seems it won't last long. Not quite sure how they'll find their way to them but I don't doubt they'll succeed. Maybe something with the portal to that hideout that uses the traveller's power But really? Warder's only thing was thinking there was treasure hidden there? I guess I'm not surprised but I can't help but wonder if he'd be disappointed by what he'd find.

Damian

Welp they got their karma ahead of time. Sad that it came with the price of helping the stalker find Alex.

Steven Lamb

"Kali Ma Shakti de"

Isiah Debarros

It crazy that the Warder really thought that his subordinates could do anything to them
