Thank you guys so much for showing up here and supporting me. šø It brings me so much joy to freely create and connect with people who appreciate whatever Iām creating. š For years, I heard being an artist meant struggling because youāll probably have no money, no one will understand you and youāll dive so deep into your emotions youIāll get stuck down there and be depressed and isolated. š» Thatās fucking scary fake-news to grow up to as you gradually realize āoh fuck, I think Iām one of those artist peopleā. One you fully embrace your artist, all the parts of you who love to create (and we all have these creative parts) thereās no turning back. Creators gotta create. All humans are creators. So being a creative being is scary because it means youāre on the frontier inventing brand new reality everyday. Literally what you create emerged from yesterdayās nothing. Youāre splashing around in the unknown on the daily. Yikes! And thrilling! āļø Good news is you have power. When you create, you get to choose what happens next. Create the meal, the outfit, the building, the garden, the project, the story, the relationship, the experience, the painting, the song, the movement. You create. Being an artist is empowering. The challenge changes you. You become capable of creating your own lifestyle, supporting yourself and others. Artwork connects us. By diving deeper into feelings, we are more together because we fully feel all of who we are and all of us feel the same feelings. We all know each other on the inside when weāre willing to open up and play a little show and tell. Thank you so much for showing up here to support me as an artist and fellow human being.
