I really want to share with you the story of how that very secret project was created (you probably already understand what the character this is?😏) I kept everything secret until the very end because I was afraid that the shooting would fall through~
One of my problems with the Malenia photoshoot was the leg 👀 it was done literally 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, because when I rented the rest of the costume in 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺, I was notified literally 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙩 that there was no crafting for the leg! 😱 Can you imagine my state? I was terrified!!!! I had a couple of days left before leaving and I asked a master from the city to make a rough sketch of the leg so that there would be at least some kind of blank.. 🫠
The master did it very quickly (over price 😭😭), but didn't have time to sand it and bring the craft to perfection, so I had to paint it myself to give it an “antique” look. This were a very stressful days that made my condition worse, but I'm glad I was able to do something worthwhile in the end 🫡
The master also made it according to my old standards, and I managed to lose weight 😩 Therefore, the craft just fell off my leg... I had to ask my friend for help and she used a soldering iron to make holes for the threads so that I could attach the leg to the back 🫢
